The current year was marked by court rulings on many significant economic conflicts. On September 9, 2020 leading edition of Kommersant published the results of a study of commercial, corporate and bankruptcy disputes that proved to be the most important for Russian business and law firms' practice during this period. The study selected the disputes that had the greatest impact on the market.

One to five projects were allocated to each area. A.T.Legal was included in the leading group of Kommersant's ranking for commercial disputes of Russian law firms with a portfolio of more than 30 major litigation and arbitration disputes during the last year.

The publication identifies leaders on a number of parameters, including quantitative and qualitative indicators: financial assessment of the project (the size of claims or amount of the dispute), the complexity of the legal issue, the number of judicial instances, project evaluation, industry specifics and the impact of the dispute on the client industry, media coverage, the legal significance of the project for the market and practice, interest from the professional community, etc.

The number of legal disputes in the economic sphere has increased markedly over the past year - one could say that a new economic reality is coming, the formation of which we watch daily in the media. This segment also had a significant market share in more stable times, but in the prolonged crisis large and medium-sized businesses are facing an increase in complex conflicts, becoming dominant in the field of legal services.

The high number of disputes is typical for many sectors of the economy - the experts polled by Kommersant agree that there is an obvious growth of conflicts involving banks and large financial institutions in general. Besides, the scope of usual disputes of big businesses with regulators, regional authorities or counterparties standard for the production cycle is still stable within each industry.
